I remember..., a photo from Palawan, Southern Tagalog

Photographer's Note

Actually I remember nothing�but fear of falling off from this boat�which took us into the underground river ( behind) Of course I didn㦙 fall, and the snakes didn㦙 eat me�the boat was made of very light material, I don㦙 know exactly what, that𠏋 all I remember from what the guide said, as aside from my fears I was also busy taking pictures. The boat was also designed to carry more passengers and glide quietly into the cave so as not to disturb the bats, birds and God knows what else. It was the longest 30 minute boat trip of my life as I am not a fan of caves or anything where I would feel blind for that matter. But it was fun and rewarding.

Hello Claire,

Your note reminds me of the underground boat trip I did in the Waitomo Caves in New Zealand. No snakes, but plenty of glowworms. In this photo it may have been nice to have seen more of the boat's outrigger to the side but it is still ok. The black frame contrasts against the vibrant colours beautifully. There are some very pleasant reflections also captured in the clear, glassy water. The whole scene forms a very tropical holiday feel. Looks wonderful. TFS, take care. ;-)
