Photographer's Note

Taken at about 10:00AM at White Sand Beach in Boracay. It was low tide and the red-orange bouy markers to separate swimmers from areas where small boats could get to shore are just lying on the sand. This shows the very gradual slope of the beach in Boracay. Even at high tide, you may walk into the water all the way to the end markers and still be waist deep in water. It also shows how clean the place is. The sands are free of sharp corrals and rocks. It is an ideal place for swimming. There are other places to go in the island if you want to go diving or beachcombing for corrals and shells. This shot was taken looking westward. The place one should be at sunset.
