Photographer's Note

Siquijor is an island province of the Philippines located in the Central Visayas region. Its capital is the municipality also named Siquijor. To the northwest of Siquijor are Cebu and Negros, to the northeast is Bohol and to the south, across the Bohol Sea is Mindanao.

Siquijor is the third smallest province in the country both in terms of population and land area, after Camiguin and Batanes. For a time it was sub-province of Negros Oriental. Called Isla del Fuego of the 𨧻sland of Fire� by the Spanish before, Siquijor is considered by many Filipinos to be a mystical island, full of witches and other supernatural phenomena.

The use of thirds with the trees and the sky really make this image. I Like the way you captured the clouds along the side of the image with the reflection. Nice work. TFS

I guess March is the best season, and here I can see a fine beach capture with the islet with the trees as a natural eye-catcher...

This is wonderful....like the way you composed this with part of the rippled bed on the left. The clouds are superb, painted in pastel hues. But the best part for me of course is the silhouette of the trees & the tiny people. Fine work!
