Photographer's Note
“Some people feel the rain. Others just get wet”.
– Bob Marley
This is the picturesque rolling mountains of Mt. Batulao in Nasugbu, Batangas which stands at 811 meters above sea level. This mountain features open trails, rolling slopes and the scenic view and cool weather of Batangas.
While the mountain was considered to be an easy climb, the trail was muddy and slippery and the climb was a bit risky due to occasional and sudden downpour aggravated further by heavy fog. But luckily, we survived and nobody got hurt.
Seen here are two images of the same side of the mountain where there was only a few minutes of clear sky and suddenly an image of a seeming deluge.

Hi Mics, moments like that are not the best to who like the colors, but it's great to who like dark landscapes and clouds. This is the best situation to try a successful HDR too.An interesting collage showing us these nice mountains under a terrific sky, excellent quality and sharpness.Have a nice day and thanks,Luciano

Hi Mics
reading your note, it makes me wish I were here along for the hike aswell!
sounds like a breathtaking experience.
the open trails would provide some outstanding views.
glad you posted the 2 shots in one here, gives us a good sense of what you're talking about with the unpredictalbe weather.
excellent post

Hello Michelle
I like the drama you've managed to capture here. That's especically strong in the second shot, and I'm wondering (despite my predeliction for diptychs!) why you chose to present two at once. When I first opened the image I thought it had mis-loaded! Nevertheless the atmosphere and palpable storminess are very well caught.
Kind regards
Will
