Such an original point of view, but at a time so characteristic of the Phils.
It reminds me a scene at Antequera market (Bohol), I was wandering through the alleys, shooting photos when my daughter, who has a little pointed nose, was looking at a barracuda on a stall.
The old woman selling the fish caught her looking, she showed the nose of my daughter and the nose of the barracuda and she shouted loud in the market "same same nose... barracuda!"... everybody in the market laughed out loud at my daughter, she couldn't walk in the alleys without being called "barracuda"...

Such a refreshing shot. It is so hard to take an original market shot, so when one comes across something like this it is pure magic. Your angle is just amazing here, but I do wish that the DOF would have been a little bigger to include the whole eye of the fish. Either way, very original work. Well done.

Not only I like the PoV of this picture, but this type of tuna is my favorite, too (in Vietnamese, we call it cá ngừ).
I am looking to more photos from you.
Cheers!

Good angle and the shiny fish makes for an eyecatching picture.Again it would have been nice to get some more focus on the eye.

I really like your use of DOF and your choice to focus more on the eye as opposed to the nose of the fish. The people in the background add to the story very well. Cheers!

the depth, the blurred people behind, all the composition of your shot is great and unusual. and the fish has such an eye-catching look that it seems alive and about to jump. congratulations francis.

Francis,
A wonderful picture. The use of DOF is great, as so many people have already said. The huge, protruding subjects, diminishing quickly toward the tails, almost make it seem as though it was taken with a fish-eye lens, an elaborate visual pun! Nice slick glossy wet surfaces. Beautiful.

Nice shallow depth of field shot, with emphasized perspective as a result.
