Photographer's Note
This is Daraga Church in Daraga, Albay in the Bicol region. I came for the Mayon Volcano but the summer weather prevented any good chance of taking clear pictures off the sky, so I went around and looked at other subjects that are not as tall and less imposing. Daraga is very close to the famed Mayon, and it's been haven to many people when the volcano's deadliest eruptions occured.
The original material coming off my Memory Stick wasn't as clear and I had to to a lot of adjustments just to come up with this. Hope I succeeded ;-) but if you feel otherwise please say so, I appreciate all the help I can get to be better at this.

I love the old churches in the Philippines. This looks grand! Do you have a shot taken from the front or without the new/modern building to it's left?

Hi Kiko,
This is an interesting piece of architecture, with a clear Spanish influence... Amazing to see how the vegetation is about to find the structure an interesting place to be! Your post processing looks like fine to me

I have a similar photo of this church from my hometown. It's a pity they added a modern (and worse - white)building (adjacent to it). Nevertheless, you were able to take a it from a good vintage point.
