Photographer's Note

it's a shame that a country that has been so influential on my life has so little representation in my photos. i've uploaded a shot similar to this one and i recognise that this shot's quality is not the highest. but to me, it's not about the shot, but what it represents. from some website:

Changdeokgung Palace is made up of the public official space, the kings residence and the rear garden. Changdeokgung Palace is the only palace that preserves the architectural style of the Joseon Dynasty. The rear garden used to be the kings resting place. This was where 300-year-old trees, pond and pavilion are harmoniously organized with nature itself.
