On that evening we had a fine mini TE meeting cum dinner with members kevinos and axiotea in an excellent restaurant on the banks of the Chao Praya... This temple was on view, across the river... the bad thing is, I can't find its name... but I'm working on it, and, as I'll be there soon, I'll go for some blue hour shots there...

Ce soir l�, nous sommes all廥 d螽er dans un excellent restaurant au bord de la rivi鋨e Chao Praya avec kevinos et axiotea, juste en face de notre table, se trouvait ce temple... j'ai donc pose la camera sur une balustrade... Le probl鋗e est que je n'ai aucune id嶪 du nom de ce temple, mais comme j'y serai tr鋊 bient矌, je vais y retourner faire quelques photos a l'heure bleue... et me renseigner sur son nom!

Salut Laurent, the parts, the details they are illuminated let us good to see the lines and details.
Some of them are little overexposed, the all figure and design of the temple comes good through the darkness.

I was not so lucky...since I was on a bateua mouche on the river....but Bangkok at night has its own nice fascination!

Salut Laurent,
For a moment I thought that it was Wat Arun again, with a tight POV that cached the pagoda. It's a fabulous image, with a magic mood.
With all the noisy boats and not so attractive skyscrapers, the Chao Praya is quite an enjoyable place to relax in an open-air cafe. I spent some very good moments in the end of the day there... Perhaps I was lucky enough that I was with someone with whom I already knew that I *couldn't* fall in love... :-)

Maybe it's not the blue hour but the shot is great,the light gives us the details of the temple and I like it's contrast with the dark background. Good reflection on the river also!

Oui je connais ca. J'y ai ete avec .... kevin ... pour boire un verre. Et tu sais quoi, je ne me rappelle plus du nom du temple non plus! La biere sans doute :)

Tres belle photo en tout cas avec une bon gestion de la lumiere. J'aime beaucoup les reflets sur la riviere.

The subject here is cleverly lighted, making the building look it's best even after sunset!
A well exposed capture with sharp fine details in the the traditional architecture, lovely warm colours...

c'est magnifique,je dirai m瘱e plus,c'est f澭rique!Les couleurs,la lumi鋨e,l'architecture,le reflet,le cadrage,tout est splendide!Voir ce temple de nuit est s壜ement beaucoup plus envoutant que de jour!Manger dans un bon restaurant avec une pareille vue,le r嶲al est autant pour les yeux que pour les papilles(Mmmmh....la nourriture Tha�)

Celle-ci m'avait fil� entre les doigts... Je suis convaincu que ta version "blue hour" sera tout � fait incroyable, mais celle que tu nous pr廥ente est d嶴� tr鋊 respectable. Je dois dire que si j'avais le choix entre une soupe Tom Kha Gai et une shot "blue hour", je prendrais toujours la premi鋨e option... :-P)

Tu as r嶧lis� une photo avec une nettet� impressionnante, o� les d彋ails des ornements, tout en d幨icatesse, ressortent sans compromis. La r嶨lection est 嶲alement jolie, de par les teintes mais aussi les vaguettes successives qui forment de minces strates de lumi鋨e.

Manger entre amis et faire de la photo nocturne, si c'est pas 蓷 la vraie vie!...

Une belle photo qui me remet en m幦oire la chanson de Murray Head "One night in Bangkok". Belle gestion de la lumi鋨e ici qui donne des reliefs particuliers � ce temple. J'aime beaucoup l'atmosph鋨e qui en ressort. Beaux reflets � l'avant plan. Bien vu Laurent, bravo.

elle est presque parfaite cette capture de lumi鋨es nocturnes, et les reflets sont quant � eux sans reproches.
Juste une l銶鋨e surexpostion dans les zones les plus 嶰lair嶪s, mais un ciel bien noir sans bruit.
Une vue paisible.

I saw similar views when we had taken a boat ride on the Chhao Praya..the two way movement, verical on account of teh waves & the horizontal on account of the boat's movement ensured that I did not have a single sharp photograph. A fine picture from the other bank..like the light on the temples & the reflections on the flowing water. Good work!

I know it's not easy to take picture with this light conditions, with great contrast of light like this. Anyway you manged very well that, the reflections and gold tones are excellent.
