Photographer's Note
Located around a hundred kilometers from Phuket, Khao Lak is the perfect antidote to the overwhelming touristiness of Phuket and Krabi. The beaches here are long, white, and sandy; the resorts quieter and more grown up; the villages and towns much more authentic; the food a whole lot tastier; and the clubs, touts and ladyboys nowhere to be seen. Its an ideal place to simply be, with little else to do other than bumming by what could well be your own stretch of beach. In the middle of all this bliss are small reminders of the devastating 2004 Indian Ocean tsunami, which hit Khao Lak harder than any other part of Thailand, taking with it at least 4,000 lives (unofficial estimates suggest numbers in excess of 10,000). The bridge here miraculously survived

Hello
I am not sure what you did with the image in PP work. But I like the result. A very surreal feel here. Maybe more of an landscape crop would get better attention. Very nice
