Wow, Great composition and lighting. Its too bad that the digital zoom left it so grainy, but I understand why you wanted to get closer and keep the composition tight.

Great shot.What a pitty that you used the digital zoom.It spoils sharpness of final image.Better don't use it,use only optical zoom and them zoom the final photo in computer.more accurate zoom this way.

Great but put it through Noise ninja 2 or Noiseware CE. The latter is freeware.

I agree that it is an excellent composition. The digital zoom just degrades the sharpness to much.

This is one of those TE photos that doesn't look like much in the thumbnail but then reveals its special qualities when opened.

I'm not sure that I agree with the others. Yes, digital zoom is NORMALLY worthless, but in this case it might actually enhance the photo - giving it a dreamy quality.

tho grainy, the capture is great. i especially like the color of the sun.
and what is that big stuff on the right side of the boat, a segment of which is hanging? a whale?
