Photographer's Note
I'm back with my favourite town in Vietnam.
The most recognizable landmark in Hoi An - The 'Japanese Covered Bridge'.
This time I happened to see a wedding photoshoot while walking along the riverside near the bridge.
What I like most that the newlyweds ( I supposed ) , wearing the traditional wedding outfits.
It looks like they're having a great time , being the centre of attention - like all brides and grooms.
The next picture in the WS1.
It was taken on the north side of the bridge , as you can clearly see a small temple ( pinkish wall ).
I noticed that the north side is quieter and fewer tourists to be seen.
There are two animal statues 'monkey' ( symbolizing safety ) and 'dog' ( protection )
that guard the entrances of either end of the bridge.
And of course , a shrine to the God of Weather - 'Tran Vo Bac De' ( WS2 ).
No matter day or night, Hoi An is full of 'charms & atmospheric'. IMO :-)
Thanks for your time.

Hi Loong,3 beautiful photos with different themes. I think the couple would have liked your photo, it's really gorgeous, with the full view and the couple off-center on the right, and the quality is also perfect despite the difficult light. Two interesting WS, with the temple dedicated to the God of time, lucky them who believe in it .. heheheh ... from me to make it rain in the summer it is enough to organize a party in the square ... ahaha .. very beautiful even the only one opposite view, from here it reminds a little of the Ponte Vecchio in Florence .. even if ours is longer. Have a nice evening and thanks,Luciano

Hello Loong,
I think I've seen this bridge before in other people's photos.
However, there are a lot of visitors here. Very good with the newly married couple posing beautifully in traditional attire.
The pillars of the bridge with their purple lighting stand out well from the dark background.
In your WS we see that the back is less popular with visitors. Nice photo of the temple interior. I hope the god of the weather was kind to you during your visit.
Best regards, Paul

Hello Loong,
The bridge is attractive and the newly married couple look like they were in a movie. It's just that there are lots of "wrong" people in the background. But I admire how you handled the very strong contrasts of light.
I was in Hoi An the first time when there was one hotel and three or four restaurants/caf廥. Less than two years later the town had changed completely, and I don't think I would have liked to go there in recent years.
Best regards,
Gert

Hallo Loong
I remember this bridge. Someone rushed out from the adjacent houses and demanded $5 USD. I did not pay them as I did not enter the bridge. Same with a view of the temple from the street and even a photo of the river from the esplanade. 2 more people rushed over demanding a photo fee. I never paid either of them. Later, Hoi An City Council reversed the 'fees' as shopkeepers were complaining that business had fallen sharply because tourists were bypassing the city. Tfs!

Hello Loong,
It is a beautiful and elegant bridge, you captured it here very well from the side and I like its purple illuminations. The couple in red is a good addition in the right hand side.

Hello Loong,
What amazing luck (which god controls luck) to reach this illuminated bridge, at the same time as the wedding party, and especially the wedding couple!
It must have been amazing seeing them in traditional costume, which fits the setting perfectly!
The colours on the bridge, moving from blue to purple make a mysterious atmosphere but are then exploded in the f/g with the red and gold of the main couple.
Have a good day,
Bev :-)
