Photographer's Note
Minh Mang was one of the emperors who ruled Hue from 1820 to 1840.
In his life time, he himself designed his tomb; however, he was not laid to rest until 1843 when this tomb was completed by his successor, two years after his death.
Minh Mang's tomb is a typical architectural compound comprising of 40 buildings and structures which include palaces, temples, pavilions and many other buildings.
The majesty and symmetry of this complex is impressive and one of the chief attractions of this Vietnamese city.

Salut André,
effectivement la symmétrie joue à plein ici et j'aime bien ce cadrage "cadre dans le cadre".

Andre,
This is a nicely composed shot using the temple in the foreground to frame the structure in the rear. The steps lead the eye through the arch and up to the second temple. The lighting and colors are great and the photo has nice sharpness.

Hi André!
Very interesting architectural details!
Very attractive picture!
I really like the way you composed it, specially placing that temple in the bg in the arch of the fg!
TFS - congratulations!
Best regards,

Hi Andre, needless to say a fine capture from your hand. Good exposure revealing a little detail in the shadows. The arch invites us to pass through and this place is simply amazing, love it. Well done.

Hi Andre!
Another great shot from Vietnam. This one is beautiful in its symmetry. And of course nice to get the blue sky too. I remember Hue...very interesting. Great market too. Fine work as always, cheers,
Steve

Hi Andre
what strikes me right away is the same thing that you pointed out, which is the symmetry.
i find it relaxes the eyes, making it easy for viewing.
the depth is great too, with the peek-a-boo temple beneath the archway.
and i absolutley love the whispy clouds - my personal favorite.
thanks for sharing, and have a great day
evening

Le cadrage symétrique s'impose bien sûr ici et tu as parfaitement réussi ton coup pour nous présenter ce lieu intéressant et attractif.

Perfectly composed for the full symmetry to take effect, pause and then continue through the arch.Nice clarity in the depth.

Hi Andre
Minh Mangs tomb definitly my favourite of those around Hue. Arches make such tools for framing images :)
