Photographer's Note

Antigua is an island of the Lesser Antilles, belonging to the state of Antigua and Barbuda. It has an area of 280 km � and a population of about 45,000 inhabitants. The island's capital is Saint John's, which is also the national capital.

The highest point is Boggy Peak, about 400 meters.

It produces sugar cane, pineapple, some citrus, cotton.

It was discovered in 1493 by Christopher Columbus, who gave it the name inspired by the church of Santa Maria La Antigua in Seville.

The island was colonized by the British in 1632 and remained a colony until the declaration of independence in 1981. He joined with the neighboring islands of Barbuda and Redonda and together formed the state of Antigua and Barbuda.

sei ritornata al primo amore con una foto costruita con molta eleganza e valorizzata dalla leggera sfumatura dei contorni.
MI piace l'eleganza della composizione che si concentra sul fiore senza per� trascurare il verde intenso della vegetazione.

Ciao Simona, molto buona fotografia di questa bella e interessante composizione con la bella bouganville che galleggia in questo splendido mare. Sullo sfondo di una spiaggia meravigliosa con bellissime palme, abbastanza cartolina molto ben catturata con una buona nitidezza, profondit�, luce e bel colore. Lavoro eccellente e interessante ben fatto, complimenti amico mio. Grazie per la condivisione di questo bel lavoro.

Ciao Simona,

The landscape would be beuatiful by itself, but with the bougainvillea floating in the foreground adds a nice romantic and tropical mood the whole composition. I think the fading doesn't really add any value to the image. It is a little bit distracting, that is my opinion. But the photo quality is very good as always.

sei tornata sui tuoi passi, fornendoci una ulteriore prova della bellezza del luogo (come se ce ne fosse bisogno....)
Non sembra il Calambrone tanto caro a Luciano, ma in questo momento andrebbe bene anche quello.

nice the view of this beautiful scenery with the pink flower of the bonkavilea to contrast perfect with the blue of the water as lead-in the eye on the woody hill on the backdrop.I like the charmy presentation as the beauty of the place.

That's a lovely composition with beautiful colours and clarity. The bougainvillea in the foreground look charming. The clear water with its delicate shades is beautifully captured. The vignetting at the edges does not (in my opinion) enhance the visual appeal of the picture. Thanks for sharing this lovely photograph. Have a great new week.
