Photographer's Note

Dear friends
I want to show a sequence of photos of the Volcano Arenal, my volcano favorites of so many in this belt of fire. This day I was become exhausted by the batteries of the Nikon camera and I had to do the photos with the Fuji that is old and has less resolution, I hope that all the time that I dedicated in waiting for a late afternoon opposite to the volcano is rewarded by his your opinions and critiques.

Ahora quiero mostrarles una secuencia de fotos del Volc嫕 Arenal, mi volc嫕 favoritos de los tantos en este cintur鏮 de fuego.Este d燰 se me agotaron las bater燰s de la c嫥ara Nikon y tuve que hacer las fotos con la Fuji que es vieja y tiene menos resoluci鏮, espero que todo el tiempo que dediqu� en esperar un atardecer frente al volc嫕 se recompense con sus opiniones y cr癃icas.

Hi Rafael, You did a good job to take the challenge of against the light source in this picture. A nice silhouette view of the foreground the mountain. A nice composition to show the eye on the sky. A PP work of noise reduction may improve the quality of this picture.

Hi Rafael.
With the picture framed in vertical, it give a superb PoV. The valcano placed on the left and the heaven above all. And finally the small patches of clouds the open towards the gloomy clouds finalised a dramatic rendering of this image.

I see the power of nature in this picture. As you show us, saturation of colors or over-exposition, when controled, can give strenght and personality to a picture.
I am pleased to see that picture too, because althought planned, I didn't got the chance to see Arenal during my last trip to Costa Rica. I make it one of my favorites

I meant to comment on this photo when you first posted it. Anyway, I just wanted to say that I think the vertical composition looks really good, and I like that little patch of blue sky. The golden rays from the sun shining under the clouds really complement the blue colors above it. I usually don't like colored frames, but your frame looks really good.

Hi Rafael - aaah, marvelleous, the sky for the most part looks gorgeous, OK the bottom part is too bright, but it must have been an unforgettable sunset.

He visto la serie entera de fotos y debo de decir que son fotos absolutamente impresionantes. Pero de todas me quedo con 廥ta. Por la composici鏮 y profundidad, as� como por la luz, es la que m嫳 me gusta.
