Malec鏮, a photo from La Habana, West

Photographer's Note

Symbol of Havana, the famous Malec鏮 comprises a wide avenue with six lanes and a long wall expanding through the whole north coast of the capital along the length of 8 kilometers, from the Havana Harbor to the district of Vedado. Especially at night, the waves use to break into the wall, making the avenue wet.

muito boa a foto, gosto do enquadramento com o pescador e as diagonais do malecon bem colocados. muito bonitas as fachadas, boa luz e detalhes. bem feito. imagino como deva ficar esta avenida em dias de furac緌.

Hello Alexandre,
A great view of the Malecon seafront walkway with the fisherman giving strength to the image and making for an attractive composition. The long diagonal line of both the avenue and the parapet guides the eye to the vanishing point of the picture together with the other elements as the cars and the buildings. The image is bright and neat, details are crisp and flawless thanks to the great sharpness and the excellent light and colour management. A great shot indeed.

Yes !

This is Malecon. Not soft, not blur, vivid even one year old :-) Because of the construction works on the side of the buildings, there are more changes.

Anyway, a clear, vivid Malecon capture. Well well done :-)

Very spacious photo that also has great depth and perspective. I like the viewpoint, with the fishing young man towering over the camera. Great exposure of the sunlight and sky. Excellent shot.

el famoso Malec鏮 de La Habana, que no conozco personalmente, pero que he visto en muchas fotos.
La visi鏮 de esta avenida que nos ofreces en tu encuadre es muy original y tiene una profunda perspectiva, en una imagen muy n癃ida, bien iluminada y con unos colores muy naturales.
Me gusta la inclusi鏮 en la composici鏮 de este pescador de ca鎙, que es un elemento que atrae nuestra mirada y da mucha vida a la escena.

Maravillosa la perspectiva del malecon, en una imagen con un fantastico DOF, que dan el grupo de edificios que vemos en la distancia, se extra鎙 ver una calle tan desierta de coches y gente.
Muy bonita gama de colores, el maravilloso cielo con esas nubes tan pictoricas a鎙den su belleza a la composicion. Perfecta luz y nitidez.

The light is great & the colours are lively! Te perspective is deep & drags our eyes right into the picture towards the building. We are habituated in seeing old cars in Havana...but we see quite a few modern cars here. Fine work!

As you say in the photo comment Alexandre, an inescapable place of La Habana, it's actually the sea front, I remember that prado, it's a lovely place to stay by night with many animation and people

Frankly speaking Cuba is my old old dream. But no time to visit this place. I like your photo collection from the island. Good composition, gorgeous colors and perfect details. I also can recognize the yellow Polish FIAT, blue Soviet LADA and blue Peugeot. And no one American oldtimer here!

Beautiful view to the length of the seafront promande, neat view of the facades along.
As I saw the angler I realized the width of the concrete-railing and the only point for good fishing "technique" was probably to stand upon it. He is a nice bonus to the cityscape here.
