Playa Anc鏮, a photo from Sancti Spiritus, West

Photographer's Note

Around 10km South of Trinidad remains one of the first Cuban coast areas to be equipped for tourism, the Anc鏮 peninsula, frequented by foreigners since 1980.

The thin white sand and the turquoise sea (although not so transparent here as along the North coast) make this promontory a Varadero in miniature, with hotels, bars, restaurants and aquatic sports clubs. But, unlike Varadero, this area is visited both by foreigners and Cubans.

Hello Alexandre,

In this 5 1/2-year-old photo from Cuba, you show us an area that very few American have seen. Apparently in 2010 Brazilians could visit the island. It's a most alluring image, with unusually good depth-of-field. The colors of the Caribbean Sea, variegated greens show up beautifully, against the coral beach, and the blue sky.

This looks like a great place to relax after some time in hectic, noisy Havana. It's an ideal view of a subtropical paradise (for those with enough money). It's a very well balanced photo superb colours. I love the horizontal areas of almost white, turquoise and dark blue.

Pleasant summer picture with blue sky and reed awnings and seats in foreground.
Lovely panorama view about the area.
Sharpness and clarity are of high quality, but your picture tilt a little bit, see the horizon of the sea, but not very important.
Composition and presentation are excellent done.

this is so beautiful! We have now autumn and it feels quite cold and unpleasant already -it will get worse and worse in coming months. Not much to look forward to... so this view is a bit annoying but I try to used it as a template for my dreams :)
