Hi Alexandre,

The distance between the mojito and the horizon is giving depth to the composition. It is well divided, the sky, the ocean and the beach. Varadero has very nice beaches. The ood luminosity is making the colours to stand out. Have a nice day.

Another beautiful photo from paradise. I like the softly-blurred background, and the shadows in the foreground. The mojito is perfectly in focus, too. My one small suggestion would be to crop the tiny bit of object on the far right of the frame.

Your photo could be used in an advertisement for mojito. I like the sharp focus on the drink with the blurry beach in the background. The color of the sea reminds me of the Bahamas.

Well, I see that the Cuban beaches seem to be even attractive to someone who lives in a country with lots of beautiful white sandy beaches.
The colours of the water and the sand are those of a paradisiacal place.

Ooooh your beautiful photo looks like an advertisement. I don't know whether I'd prefer to dive into that turquoise coloured water or drink 10 of those mojitos whilst taking in the view. Maybe both. Excellent composition. I probably would have cropped out the small bit of the boat on the right, but that is being very picky. Excellent shot, the shade is very evocative too.

Hi Alexandre,

My first thought was the old 'Put the lime in the coconut' song by Nilsson. But there's no coconut in a mojito. Anyway I like it's prominent fg placement in the frame. And the effect is reinforced by the shallow dof and sharp focus on the glass. Tfs!

Hi Alexandre,
a second ago I have commented on a picture full of conflict and tension made by Gert in Cyprus, here a similar idea: object very close with blurred background yet quite an opposite feeling: relax & pleasure. Simple yet brilliant composition. The drink makes a lovely foreground, it is well framed with the fragment of umbrella. Both the drink and the horizon are at the perfect ratio in the frame.
My favourite is of course the beach: although blurred, we can admire fantastic color of the sand and water.

Hello Alexandre,
you are offering us a very delightful scene and a dream-like experience. Your minimal composition is so rewarding in terms of textures, sunshine and colours. The contrast between sunshine and shade is excellent and the use of flash has been most successful. This image is wonderful and I think that it would be just perfect if there was a little more space in the foreground and if the little detail on the right border was left out. I love the atmosphere. yo he disfrutado bastantes momentos como el que nos regalas aqu�, tomando un mojito contemplando la belleza del Caribe tumbado en una playa dominicana.
Me gusta c鏔o has gestionado el foco, dejando el mojito perfectamente destacado sobre un bello paisaje desenfocado, con arena blanca, agua turquesa y cielo azul.

Looks inviting. You could replace this with a Corona bottle and I'd think it was a commercial for them. I would have liked to see a bit more of the palm umbrella, but this works. Only thing I'd do is crop out the little item at bottom right. It's a bit distracting. Otherwise, nice photo.

This is an interesting concept.
The mojito is the main subject.
There is no doubt that when the bathers return from the beach, hot and bothered, this cool drink will be a sure focus for them.
It's a very well conceived photograph and connection of ideas.
The scene is beautifully composed and excellent use of shallow dof.
