Woman with her child
During a day trip starting in Punta Arena, we visit a small noname village in Haiti near the border to the Dominican Republic. Everybody has concerns to capture photes because of the poorness of the people living here. And they old us about the sex tourism they had here. On the other side it is important to show that we not living in a perfect world where everybody has his daily meal.

Hello Achim. Beautiful portrait of mother and child. The details on their faces are excellent. Good framing and interesting perspective to compose this image. Yes is too bad that many people around the world lack the basis necessities of life. Thanks for this picture Achim.

Hello Achim,

The mother with a small smile on her lips, and the child looking very strong to the photographer.
The red flowers on her clothing together with the yellow headscarf gives a nice contrast on her complexion. Very well composition.

Hallo Achim,
das ist einfach nicht leicht darzustellen, ohne zumindest in unseren Augen gleich zu irgendwelchen Handlungen aufzufordern. Erst mit der Distanz klappt es dann, wenn die anderen diese Bilder sehen. Das Doppelportrait ist gelungen, sehr gut wie Licht und Schatten auf der Haut spielen. Ihr Gesichtsausdruck sorgt daf僡, dass der Hintergrund der Aufnahme nicht in Vergessenheit ger酹.

La m鋨e est bien 嶰lair嶪 et se trouve tr鋊 expressive. Dommage que l'enfant n'ait pas la m瘱e lumi鋨e. Mais l'ensemble est excellent. Le portrait est un art tr鋊 difficile et celui-ci est une r徼ssite.

I am always interestd to know about Haiti, as the state of the country worries me! I so much wish they could get out of the vicious circle they are in!
Anyway, your woman and child are comforting, they seem happy enough, and not underfed, so at least, it's something!

Nice framing and an excellent capture. I would be interested in seeing how it may look if i cut the frame closer down her forehead. Nice soft shade and a smile to cool off the struggles of poverty.
