Photographer's Note
Near the Square Ambiorix is this beautiful apartment series. It was a beautiful sunny day and the windows were open, I wished I could peak in to see the interior design. There is a Art Nouveau self-guided tour for this part of the city which takes about 1.5 hours or less, that is well doing. The guide map is cheap and available from tourist centres.
Technically, I played with the curves and added some colour, as well as sharpening the shot up a little.

Chris, I get the idea Brussels is competing with Riga for the capiatl of art nouveau!
The house lookes funny because of it's size, but also serious, because the location must be very good.
Brussels was actualy ione of the starting places of art nouveau architecture, and their most famous architect was van de Velde. Belgium has a museum for him. Sometimes this is nothing much, just a place for a country to create a hero, but in this case he deserves it. He was a gifted man, one of the greatest architects of his days, and very influential.
