Photographer's Note

A long time ago, that I place a picture, The time this it problem.
I'm no good photographer but I look very much to the pictures of carper and jhm with clouds this is a inspiration on them pictures.
Who gives comment, for make a better pictures!

I work with a Sony Cybershot W100, 8 mlj pixels

Help is always welcome!

Very nice photo. I like the angle looking down the road. Your sky does seem a little dirty, maybe some lens dust. I think you could have included a bit more land in your photo. Nice image.

Hoi Emma,
Ik vind de samenstelling erg goed. De lage horizon met het focus op de lucht en de lijnen die perspectivisch breed uitwaaieren werken erg goed. Ook dat je het perspectrivisch midden zo goed ver van het centrum hebt geplaatst is goed gedaan.
Ik heb ook nog wel wat op te merken:
jezou de vuiligheidjes in de lucht moeten wegwerken door retoucheren of klonen. Wellicht heb je al een poging gedaan want ik zie rare elemeneten in de lucth hangen aan de rechterkant.
De kleueren zouden beter iets bescheidener blijven. Als je de lucht er uit wil laten komen doe dat dan met selective colour en pas daarin de witte en ciaan tonene aan dan hoef je niet het hele spectrum van een te heftige saturatie te voorzien.
Ga door zou ik zeggen met posten want je plaatjes zijn heel goed.

Een mooi landschap, lekker verzadigde kleuren in een strakke compositie.
Ik mag dit soort opnames graag zien...mooi.

Hoi Emma,

Ik moet mij aansluiten bij Gerrit, de kleurenlijken mijn nogal aan de straffe kant, maar de totale samenstelling hou ik wel van, ik dacht dat uw fototoestel geen lenzen kan vervangen, want ik heb toevallig het zelfde, waar liggen deze stof deeltjes, eens kijken als de zoemer uitgeschoven is. met wat geduld en goede raad zal u er zeker komen.

The sky is a bit dirty but it is a big sky which suits the landscape. Flat lands and big skies go together. The colours look autumn like, must be the dry summer.

hallo Emma,
Ik vind het fijn dat ik U geinspireerd heb. Een paar belangrijke begrippen bij dergelijke foto's zijn kwaliteit, verhouding, de tijd nemen bij een foto zodat U op het gemakje kunt bekijken wat de beste compositie is. Dingen die ongewenst zijn er niet op plaatsen, zoals hier de auto, die onderbreekt het lijnenspel. De compositie verder is best aardig genomen maar ik had zelf een 1/3 - 2/3 verhouding aangehouden, voor een betere foto. Er zit inderdaad nogal wat dingen vlekjes links en rechts op de foto in de lucht. Is eenvoudig op te loseen zoals Gerrit al schreef. Verder goed werk.

Hallo Emma
een mooi geframed zicht langzij het convergerend pespectief kanaal, de kleurbalance is perfect maar een tikkeltje overgesatureerd, maar dat kan makkelijk nog gereduceerd worden h�.
nog een fijn weekend en zoals je zei , Vlaanderen zend zijn zonen uit h� :))

A fine one with so much colour & Detail...Composition is excellent here...
A fitting reference to jhm...
Perhaps a bit of contrast & sharpness helps.

Tr鋊 jolie vue de ce canal sous un superbe ciel qui prend beaucoup de place et semble 嶰raser la plaine.

Bonjour Emma,
tu nous as captur� un tr鋊 beau ciel ici. Quelques petites critiques avant de passer au positif: je crois que tu devrais v廨ifier la propret� de tes optiques, il y a pas mal d'impuret廥 dans le ciel et ensuite, peut 皻re choisir un moment sans voiture pour la prise de vue.

Maintenant ce que j'aime : le ciel bien entendu, mais aussi les couleurs tr鋊 franches , les belles lumi鋨es et le cadrage.

Je te pr廥ente mes meilleurs voeux pour 2007.

I love the landscape to belgium. And this picture ia a good exemple. Perfect shot to sky and great compo. Like the colours, contrast, and inclussion to the canal.

I just have to comment on this very well done photograph. The lights and the cloud formation that you captured is like a painting! This is so beautiful and pleasant to look at.

Hi Emma,

Very nice shot. I like your POV including the road making the perspective and guiding the eyes. Nice composition and nice colours even if the blue of the sky seems a bit unreal in my opinion. Characteristic landscape and big sky of Northern Belgium, very nice.

good perspective...and full of country feel..the sky is well presented and full of lovely cloud.
and other items which could be birds or the results of scanning..
i saw a work shop done on this but the real items to be addressed i will show in my workshop..
and hope it meets with your approval.
