This visit during Covid-19 a Sijsele, this is allowed in Belgium at the moment

I regularly cycle to this place, there are always beautiful pictures to be taken

Where are the Meibos ponds located?
The Meibos ponds are located a few hundred meters from the village center of Sijsele in the province of West Flanders. In a green environment you can enjoy an oasis of peace.
All fishing methods are used. Fixed pole, feeder, match rod, etc ...
Pike, zander and eel are also fished. The carp angler will certainly find something to their liking here.

Hallo John,
Een mooie foto van deze visser aan de waterkant op deze kalme herfstdag. Hij wordt mooi omringd door de warme kleuren van het riet en ook de spiegeling van de grote boom aan de andere kant is prachtig en mooi in het midden geplaatst.

Hallo John,
Goede compositie, veel diepte in het beeld en een mooi doorkijkje middenin naar de boom met de breedste vertakkingen die zich mooi weerspiegelt in de vijver.
Prachtige wolkenlijnen in de lucht en een toch vrij grote verscheidenheid van kleuren op de voorgrond.
De visser heeft bijna zijn hele huishouden meegebracht.

Hello John,
This is a very nicely composed photo. You placed the fisherman slightly to the side in the gap between the reeds, where we also get a fine view of the pond and the beautifully reflected trees. The foreground is filled with strange equipment which I wouldn't know how to use. The colours are very nicely saturated, with beautiful autumn tones.

Hello John,

I'm glad that you are still able to get out. The same applies in our area; walks or cycle rides alone or with family members is permitted.

I don't quite understand the thrill of fishing but it always seems to create a sense of calm. That's probably because things are still and quiet!
You have composed your photograph well. The rod support makes a strong f/g feature and links very naturally to the fisherman, who is framed by the tall reeds. The gap between the reeds funnels attention towards the water and the fine reflections.

It's beautiful!

Looks a serious angler not to be bothered by anything. An inspiring viewpoint with extra elements around effectively complement the shot so nicely. Love the clarity too together with some catchy autumnal colours while the water sheen adds that extra dimension to back up this cheery shot, Congrats
