Photographer's Note

Brugge developed around a fortress of IXe century, built to defend the coast against the Vikings. In spite of repeated French invasions, Brugge becomes between the XIV and XVIe century one of the most sophisticated cities Northern Europe. It owes its current fame with the beauty of its historical center, whose paved alleys and the sinuous channels are bordered of medieval houses. These constructions are for the majority the heritage of the golden age of the city, two hundred years of trade of cloth, flourishing starting from XIIIe century. During this glorious time, the clothiers of Brugge liberally financed residences, churches and official buildings of such a magnificence that they made of it the wonder of Northern Europe.

Beautiful picture, Daniele. Good pov with the slight curve of canal that leads the eyes between the two rows of buildings. A peacefull place how seems seeing the people sitting outdoor (at a bar?) to enjoy the urban landscape. Good colors too.

Nice view of this great city. The small river leads our sight over the composition. That's really a good compo.
I think that the colors are a little bit too pale.

Belle pr廥entation de cette ville superbe du Nord de mon pays. La cadrage est parfait avec les courbes du canal et le clocher. Tr鋊 bien vu Dani鋩e.

La note d嶰rit parfaitement cette belle ville de Bruges. La composition est tr鋊 r徼ssie d'autant plus que j'aper蔞is un clocher d'嶲lise (彋onnant !), de plus celui-ci se situe sur un point fort de la prise de vue.
Tr鋊 bien r嶧lis�.

Tr廥 bel endroit qui ressemble un peut a Venise sans vouloir trop comparer les deux villes.
J'aime bien ici les lumieres qui sont bien misent en valeurs.

A Brugges, j'ai Tournai mon Gand � l'Anvers, la courbe du canal me donne envie d'aller d嶰ouvrir ce qui se passe plus loin.
Je tourne donc � babord non sans appr嶰ier l'architecture bien cadr嶪.

Voici donc une photo qui a un certain cachet, probablement du a la belle lumi鋨e
mais surtout a l'angle que tu as choisi, d'o� l'on voit le canal et sa courbe vers la gauche. Les deux toits rouges sont les cerises sur le g漮eau. Bon Dimanche - Izzet

Daniele, c'est une belle courbe dessin嶪 par le canal et les maisons qui le bordent plus un clocher bien plac� qui font une belle photo sur une ville admirable.
