Photographer's Note

Change of town, from Laon to Chimay, 80 kilometers, but 17 kilometers of our house. Chimay, in the extreme south of the "Boot of Hainaut", gathers 14 old communes, has a total surface of 19.711 hectares, 9.300 hectares of wood, 46 inhabitants with the square kilometre.
It is the site, between others, of a castle and collegial, the Collegial Saints Pierre-and-Paul, of which you see the bell-tower here.

For the small history, it snows and it freezes this morning in all the area, the roads are not released yet in spite of the efforts of the services of "salting", and I will remain fixed in the car in a modest but impracticable rise... the joys of the winter...
