Again a picture out of my archive 2008.

Bruges Sint-Janshuysmolen.

Text (hdl) Hendrik De Leyn member TE.
This is the only one of the four mills that has always stood on this site. It was built in 1770 by order of the bakers of Bruges. He stands on the spot where previously the mill of the Sint-Jans hospital stood that was blown down in 1744. Type: wooden standard mill on four masonry tiles. Accessible to the public and decorated as a museum.

Dobro vece, gospodine.
Interesantan i lep pogled, dobar tekst ...
Lepo pokazano, dobra perspektiva i kontrast, lewpe boje, lepo uhvacen trenutak sa oblacima koji dolaze.
Lepo mesto sa zelenom travom i drvecem.
Lep strai mlin.
Dobar tekst o koriscenoj tehnici i elementima snimka.
Lepim vam lepu i mirnu noc, sve najbolje u novoj nedelji koja je pocela, srecno.

A very fine photograph from your archives! Despite this picture having been taken ten years ago with an older camera and a lens inferior to those you now have, the image is beautifully clear and sharp with perfect colours and a fine composition.

It's a tempting location with the famous windmills stealing the shot and green lushness along with subtle light which paints the picture in soft hues. An evocative image, who could be bored looking at this? Lovely work shot, Congrats.

Een heel mooie foto van deze molen, trots boven op het kleine heuveltje. Het zachte licht is heel aangenaam en de bomen aan beide kanten zorgen voor een mooie natuurlijke omlijsting.

Hallo John,
De enige molen die steeds hier gestaan heeft ... Werden de andere dan eerst elders gebouwd?
Ik blijf me steeds afvragen waarom de wieken de kleuren van de Nederlandse vlag dragen.
De compositie is heel aantrekkelijk met de bomen langs beide zijden en de trappen die naar boven leiden.

Prachtige foto met deze klassieke standaardmolen. Waarschijnlijk wordt hij bij jullie staakmolen genoemd. Ik weet een paar plaatsen in Nederland met dit type, maar hij komt hier niet erg vaak voor.

Hallo John, that old wind mill was restored and is preserved nowadays like a patrimonial monument. It is located in a tree-filled park. Wind mills are an international symbol of Flanders and the Netherlands. Fine colors, good sharpness, interesting photo note, regards.
