This visit during Covid-19 to Bruges, this is allowed in Belgium at the moment
Third picture of a mill.
The name "Bonne-Chi鋨emolen"
History
The Bonne-Chi鋨emolen in the city of Bruges is located on Kruisvest, on the edge of the city center. The mill was built in 1844 and functions as a grain and oil mill.
The mill was built in 1844 in Olsene (East Flanders). On May 16, 1876 the mill was sold to a miller in Bruges, named Rotsaert Edouard. In 1903, the Bonne-Chi鋨emolen was toppled by a violent storm. Part of the mill ended up in the canal. In 1906, the mill wall of the old Bonne-Chi鋨emolen was purchased to rebuild the mill. The mill is still there, but it cannot be visited.
I hope you like it

Hello John,
I like this windmill better than the pink one you showed us recently. It somehow looks more "genuine". It is also better placed, at least from a photographic point of view. This is also a nicely made composition with the picnic table in the corner providing a fine balance to the windmill. The subdued light has created pleasant colours, and the green lawn and blueish clouds contrast each other well.
Kind regards,
Gert

Hallo John,
Mooi gezicht op de molen boven op de heuvel. Het groene gras en de kleuren van de molen zelf zorgen voor een mooi contrast met de donkere, bewolkte lucht. Goede en gebalanceerde compositie ook.

Pozdrav,.
Lepo mesto sa klupom i starim mlinom, dobro pokazano sa lepim bojama, kontrastom, perspektivom i dobrim tekstom.
Dobro uhvacen trenutak sa oblacima koji dolaze sa kisom.
Zelim vam lepu i mirnu noc, sve najbolje.

Hi John,
The mill is well placed in the frame. The point of view is showing the details of the windmill. The colors and the sharpness are very good. Have a nice day.

Hi John,
I love your photos. But, the tendency to over punch to get a dramatic effect is a tendency of mine as well. The grass here makes the picture, but it's not real. I have fought this inclination since digital. It's difficult to stay away from such an area that will lead to a dramatic effect. The ability to to create a natural capture using this fabulous digital tool will continue to challenge us all. I continue to learn from your exemplary work.
TFS, Warm Regards, John

Hi John.
You have chosen a good POV for this shot. Nice colour match between the grass and the sky, the main object stands tall, the bench waiting for someone to sit down and enjoy the view. TFS!!!

Hello John,
A nice minimalist shot of the windmill and the picnic table. Good sharpness and the green lawns have been mowed recently. Tfs!

Hello John,
This lonely windmill, high on the slope and well balanced by an empty picnic table, seems symbolic of the times! Interesting features, fine weather and no-one around to share them!
You have created a fine composition.
I like that you are still exercising and looking at the beauty of your countryside, despite the problems imposed with Covid 19.
Have a good day,
Bev :-)

Hi John,
another lovely windmill. So old and stylish.
The weather is as bad as in England these days. I actually stay at home since a month and not due to Covid but because of the bad weather.
Nice capture with the bench in the foreground. It looks inviting to walk around an have a picnic there.
Very well done,
M

Hi John
Life passes and if only the bench can talk but it makes all the vital touch and balances the powerful background interest - the huge windmill. It's a nice piece with strong details, exposure is right and great colours as well. A splendid shot well put together.
Best regards

Hallo John,
Vele groeten, Paul

A well maintained windmill, John, the picture taken from a fair distant POV to include the green mound it was built upon.
managed well with the cloudy sky aloft.
Good afternoon,
Ike

Je molen is mijn buurman, John. Simpel, maar mooie foto. De plaats van de bank is uitnodigend!
