St.John's Hospital in the old city of Brugge. This hospital is many centuries old, but continued until only 20-30 years ago. On the left you can see some of the pleasure boats which take you around the many canals.

Very nice shot.. tranquil and atmospheric at the same time. POV and sharpness are excellent. It would have been nice to see the top of that main building.. but there are more interesting things here that compensate for that. Thanks for sharing Roberto.

Roberto, the name of this photo certainly fits well. In addition to being a beautiful scene it was beautifully captured. No hot spots, lots of detail, really super job.

I'm normally always telling people to take their night photos before it gets dark, but here I like the contrast between the deep golden light on the stonework and the blackness in the rest of the image.
I also like the tight, rather claustrophobic framing, which adds to the mood of the image.

Hello Roberto,

Your printwork picture made me curious about your other photographs. Well, seeing this beauty I could not do anything else then giving the dark green to this one!
And with an Ixus500. Amazing! It's a nice composition, the light is very well controlled, good contrast without being noisy - I expect some post-processing here ;-). Nice shot!

Hello Roberto,
A good picture of Bruges showing us the old buildings and their reflections in the canal. The advantage here is that the water is quite still and it creates mirror like reflections. But ideally I would prefer this picture taken in late afternoon before the sky becomes black.
