Photographer's Note
Well my friends, not so frequently participating recently, but always doing it with some very special feeling and utmost pleasure for this stunning community of people united by their great hobby - photography!...
This is the "Shark it up" - this time I experimented with another angle of shooting and there is the result.
The shot was taken from a water wheel, while passing by a typical fisherman's summer hut at Kamchia River. Hope it didn't affected too much the sharpness...
It was early afternoon with a very strong sun and guess it resulted in some bright spots on the boat. But even so, I hope you will like the mirroring effect the water did to double the boat.
"Shark" is a very strange name for a river boat of course. Perhaps some thoughts could be evoked to help digesting it: be aware of the deep waters you enter and their dangerous contents...:-)
So, guards on, meet the shark now and be cautious...:-)
PP: the usual ones I do as - slightly clarified and sharpened, also slightly saturated, framed and resized. All comments for improvement are warmly welcomed - as always, and of course, feel free to play with the WS option!

One of your best postings Maria. Composition and framing are really great as they are the colors...But IMHO the element which is giving "life" in this picture are the fantastic reflections on the water...Very well done!

Dear Maria,
First of all your note is great meaning that you took pains on it,i do appreciate.
The reflection is great. But in my opinion the composition seems a little bit heavy, that's what i feel when i look at it.Not a technical critique as im not so good at it.But i should say that if there is something related with a fishermen or a fishing boat in a photo, than the feeling is always great. This is one of them.Very well done despite beeing on a water wheel.
Congratulations..

I like the mirroring effect indeed, also the colours and the "happy summer-house", nice shot with a lot of details, Maria

Hello dear Maria, I just came home, and then there is your picture, lovely to see it.
The light and the reflections are truly very nice, although because of the harsh light the front of the 'shark' is a bit overexposed, now you can look upon it as a great white one (the real animal), it doesn't bother me. Your composition is very good, and you don't have to worry about the sharpness. The kush green surroundings add a lot to the atmosphere in the picture!
Since I have been in Russia' I suddenly can read 'Varna' ;-)

Well, the subject and setting sure make it a distinctive sunny posting :-) A nice follow-up to your earlier one, with a beautiful bright light and an enhanced graphical element from the reflection of the "Varna - Shark - Varna" writings. Lovely colors, a welcome break from the wet and chilly autumn weather. Well done Maria.

Hi Maria !
Excellent sharpness & graphism. The reflections of the canoe & text are an added bonus.

Hi Maria
Nice to shoot from out in the river. I guess you took care for the sharks out there..
Nice compo, maybe a little bit tilted, or just the result of being out there in the stream and waves. Very nice reflection adds a fine mood in the compo. Well done

Simlar PoV to one of your recent shot, and same subject, but I think this works better, the reflection adds more coherence to the compo, and the focus (which I think is somewhere the table on the landing stage) is in a mnore satisfying position.

Another typical picture of your style, Maria... with a boat! As other already said to you, I think it is a little overexposed... but the composition is great and nice to see. Well done!

Interesting this fishermen's hut. I like these nets which dry in the sun and the reflections in the water. The light is strong little in front of the boat but nothing very grave. Good shot!
Intéressant cette maisonnette de pêcheurs. J'aime bien ces filets qui sèchent au soleil et les reflets dans l'eau. La lumière est forte un peu à l'avant du bateau mais rien de bien grave. Bien fait!

It's amazing Maria how you can catch the beauty in a boat so easily. It's almost makes me intrested in getting one. I like the waved mirror effect very much. Well done again
