My Door, a photo from Varna, East

Photographer's Note

This is the last posting of our mutual TE project with "sunny"...After all those boats around seems I miss some nice doors...So I could not resist to the idea of finding a door... First i was attracted by the warm colors of the ceramic tiles on the wall...but getting closer i saw the shadow of the street light on it and here was a nice composition...Just simple ellements well combined together!

I hope you liked the whole idea of the mutual project. As of us, we really enjoyed every second of it. :-D A lot of thanks to all of you that reviewed our photos!

Hello George,
You are probably one of the best door,window shooter:)The texture of the wall and its changing tones are great.The shadow reminds me a kind of a shadow theatre.Very well composed.

All colors are at the top, very hooooot.
The composition is interesting due to the geography of the objects you put in, like very much the shadow of the "lampadaire".

Πραγματικά, δένουν όμορφα όλα αυτά σ' αυτή την φωτογραφία. Ο φωτισμός είναι λίγο "σκληρός" αλλά αποδίδεται καλά στις επιφάνειες με τέτοια χρώματα.

Again a very well-seen detail, George, you really have a great eye for those. The pattern of the tiles makes for a good rhythm and interestingly enough makes the door in between just look like an oversized red-brown tile with a handle ;-) The lantern shadow is a good detail and essential to provide an additional piece of interest in the right part of the frame. Very nice one.

I like of the shadow of the lantern on the tile wall George, the horizontal and the vertical lines of the tiles make the picture great George, the door is a nice detail.

Nice photo George and well composed with the of center door. The warm tones and the well defined texture of the wall are very nice. The street lamp shadow adds balance to the composition. Well done!

Καλά οξύτητα & χρώμα. Συμπαθώ τη σκιά των λαμπτήρων οδών & την αντίθεση μεταξύ των κόκκινων & πορτοκαλιών κεραμιδιών.

Good sharpness & color. I like the shadow of the street lamps & the contrast between the red & orange tiles.

Sorry to hear that this wonderfull project is coming to an end. I really enjoy this thing that you had going with Maria. This is a very good photo with great colors. I really like the shadow of the street light.
