A child plays in this playground in front of a damaged church in the center of Slunj.
One can see the damages of the balkan war (or War of Independence as it is called in Croatia) in some places in Croatia, Slunj is one of those.
Nearby, the beautiful village of Rastoke has been restored and it is a nice place to stop at, apart from the well-know Plitvice National Park.
