Photographer's Note
M塄no lids are a rock formation on Kokoř璯 mine at the mouth of the ravine called Močidla. Chief boards - Lids - consist of ferric gross grain sandstone and conglomerates, in places four feet thick, covering the irregular cone of softer sandstones associated with cement from kaolin. The most massive lid has dimensions of approximately 6 x 5 x 1.5 m. The height of this unit is about 12 meters.

Bonjour Thomas,
C'est une belle photo de ces curiosit廥 g廩logiques qu'on appelle chez nous les demoiselles coiff嶪s. Leur coiffe les a prot嶲嶪s de l'廨osion et leur a donn� cet aspect.

Int廨essantes formations calcaires. On peut aussi en trouver en Dr獽e proven蓷le.
Sans oublier les c幨嶵res Dolomites du Trentin-Haut Adige ( Italie ).
On les appelle aussi " dames coiff嶪s ".
