Photographer's Note

This is father and son from London. They dont know their ethnic origins and they dont care. Travelling around Europe, making money in the streets with their music.

Father thinks little Ruben had enough of school at his age, more will only stop him from thinking and make him a slave. Thanks to liberal English traditions Elliot can actually keep him at home so he might as well continue practising music and become excellent musician in few years time.

Now they are enjoying their time together, camping and hitchhiking, a dream to many sons which will never come true, as they probably spend less time just with their father in their entire life than Ruben and Elliot in one year

I'm beginning to "get it" about horizontal frames '(not too many verticals in your repertoire, eh? This is a very nice image, carefully calibrated with regards to DOF (SON and then...father). First rate really, I cannot understand the lack of comments, mystery to me, Swiatek.
Also your note is excellent, and unusually full...:o)

fajne. Kadr moze ciut ciasny (tak odrobinkę więcej dołu bym chyba widział), ale og鏊nie opowiada historię i to sie liczy.

dof is beautifully rendered here, Swiatek.
you愉e an artist, you know, the image is fine but i prefer the one in the ws: it愀 more colorful and there is a nice interplay with the young man, despite the fact the setting is also shown.
what a happy kid!

Wonderful note to accompany this sensitive portrayal of father and son. Selective focus is very appropriate here.

I like this photo, expecially cause of the look of this young boy...nice portrait...and very intriguing...
