Photographer's Note

Meno lids are a rock formation on Kokoř璯 mine at the mouth of the ravine called Močidla. Chief boards - Lids - consist of ferric gross grain sandstone and conglomerates, in places four feet thick, covering the irregular cone of softer sandstones associated with cement from kaolin. The most massive lid has dimensions of approximately 6 x 5 x 1.5 m. The height of this unit is about 12 meters.
