Dronning Alexandrines Bro from 1943 connects the Danish islands of M鷢 (left) and Sj熞land (right).
I'm standing neither on M鷢 nor on Sj熞land, but on tiny Nyord island, accessible from M鷢 by dam and bridge, only 35 inhabitants and 5 sqkms by size, but a bird's paradise and therefore a paradise for ornithologists.

The tiny village is worth a visit, as it is not only picturesque but also free from cars: all visitors are requested to use the parking lot in front of the first houses.
