Photographer's Note
One place I think a subtle HDR works really well is inside for architecture. This was a 3 exposure shot at F18. Coutances cathedral is well worth a visit of you're in the area.

Hello,
Nice work for the HDR as the atmosphere and rendering remain subtle. As well a good point of view and composition to use all those arches. I feel I am in a scene of the movy Lord of the ring.

Hi Matthew!
It's true - HDR technique is here fantastic. Very atmospheric shot with amazing light management (super light play on the floor). Fine point of view and composition. I agree with sevy: "feel I am in a scene of the movy Lord of the ring".

Hello Matt,
Very good use of HDR here. Wonderful long perspective through the columns and some lovely light and shadow play. Impressive architecture.

Hi Matthew!
Great cathedral shot, with plenty of great depth of field and clarity to make this photo of top notch quality. Like you say, the HDR is subtle and probably just accentuates the great photo that it already was. Obviously you have achieved an almost three dimensional feeling. Great work, warm regards,
Steve

Hi Matthew,
Lovely architecture photo. I really like these pinkish patches. HDR worked wonder here, nothing shockingly surrealist. In your profile, you mention enjoying learning more about Photoshop. I guess a next step would be to learn about removing distortion. Perfectly vertical columns would bring it a little further. Personally, I don't think I will ever have the patience.

Hello Matthew,
A great sense of depth here and a wonderful variety of tones. Great how you captured the light falling through the stained windows. Very good picture, one of the first good (subtle!) uses of HDR I've seen here.
Cheers.

Hello Matthew,
I do like such kind of composition, with arches, columns, corridors. I think, light (I guess sun rays or is it an artificial light?) plays the most important role here and gives this place a magic atmosphere.Nice colours and good saturation.
best regards from Tbilisi
