This indeed is a very sad picture, I also got a feeling of someone being gone forever, not seeing her eye ads a bit of mistery and a question mark as to who she could be. Also her fingers picking on the stems of the flowers indicate that she is lost in her thoughts.
I like your low point of view. Technically it could be better, sky, parts of her fingers and the flowers are overexposed, but I understand the exposure was tricky due to her wearing black. Perhaps you may consider black and white conversion, it may accentuate the sadness and melanholy even more.
