Photographer's Note
The Eiffel Tower is one of the most recognizable structures in the world. Named after its designer, engineer Gustave Eiffel, the tower was built as the entrance arch to the 1889 World's Fair.

I do have dozens of pictures of the tower itself, but I really enjoy the way this one turned out - especially the sky in the background. I really enjoyed Paris, and tried my very best to spend my time blending with the locals..while occasionally wandering the streets and people watching...along with some amazing food, and the beautiful music of Edith Piaf.

Bonsoir Kaitlyn,

bravo
une belle entrée sur TE

Hi Kaitlyn
great to see a fellow Canadian on TE! Welcome!
I'm from the Vancouver area.
There are alot of friendly people on this website, and the more you interact with writing critiques the more friendships you'll make.
When you travel, we try to 'hook up' for a day or two and have what we call "TE Meetings". We meet and go on photo shoots.
For example on my recent trip to Poland I met up with Malgo (emka) who toured myself and my girlfriend around Warsaw for 4 days showing us the sights :)
Same thing when I visited NYC, I met up with Brenda (worldcitizen).
If you stay on TE, you'll find it an addiction haha
its always interesting to see new and creative photo's of such Iconic structures like the Eiffel Tower.
this is a nice cut of the iron and steel.
we see the smaller delicate details that are often missed in the wider angle photo's we normally see.
Good attention to detail
see you around
cheers

Very nice composition.
The subject is difficult, and it's hard to propose something different...
The contrast between empty place and iron structure is perfet.
Well done,
