Claude,
Wonderful capture. Nicely cropped. It reminds me of why I have this dislike of all things labeled fashion.

Appreciate your eye for the unusual composition, and you penchant to compose the extraordinary from the jungle of mundane and ordinary sights.
The composition to keep a part of the back and a bit of the left arm - where the stripes go at an angle was a good idea. The curves of the had makes the photograph 'modern'. There is sharpness and clarity that enhances the effect of the stripes in the photograph.
The framing is appropriate.
Thanks for sharing.

Hello Claude - Well spotted and great use of your long lens. You'd make a good hunter but it's illegal to hunt urban zebras! Have a great Sunday. Rosemary

Hi Claude,
A very good example of the Op Art! I remember this from around 1964 when Mary Quant made this fashion popular. An excellent observation and captire!
Kind regards

Salut cher Clodo
hehehehe what a great title and your note has me laughing my head off. Yep, definitely a fashion victim - and one in the most fashionable city in the world. I'm surprised they let this lady into the city gates. Great spotting of this fantastic clash of lines and shapes. Methinks the lady tries too hard - or else she is from Asia where they think it's ok to team a Chanel suit with ankle socks and clogs :) hehehehe MEOWWW!
Bonne amitiés

A walking optical illusion here, Claude - great way to capture this scene, by cropping away everything but the clashing lines and tones. Wonderful presentation, and good of you to help turn this somewhat atrocious outfit into a piece of graphic art!

Claude
Impazzirei per trovarmi nella possibilità di trovare una situazione simile.
Le righe ed il cappello, divenuti pendant con il sapiente B6W.
Il taglio che smussa da movimento , cogliendo la sinuosità.
Ottimo lavoro.
