Photographer's Note
I took this shot of the Eiffel tower with the sepia selection on my camera. I thought it added an old feel to the photo. I wanted to get a different perspective than just the straight on shot.
P.S. Does anyone know what state Paris is in?

WELL DONE~! I love the coloring of sepia for this subject. I agree with your feelings of age on the tower. the angle is perfect.

Hi Katya,
welcome to TE! I think you will like it a lot. And your photography will improve by leaps and bounds. I know mine and pretty much every one else's photography has really improved.
Sepia works so well here, it really adds a great rustic feel to the old tower. Its a nice angle too. Overall its a well done photo although there are things I would generally try to improve here. Perhaps brightening it up a bit and playing with contrasts. Some parts of this photo could be better, especially the dark part underneath. if you have photoshop you can brighten it up and bring out the detail from the darkness. Also, it never hurts to add a nice frame for presentation. It really does add punch to any shot.

Yea! This sure is a fun one. I know the haze was do to fog, but you could bring out some contrast in photoshop (just an idea). You're right, the sepia is perfect. Keep up the good work!

Nice work! This picture looks just like that postcard I almost bought for 1 Euro! Sepia was an excellent choice, it gives it that old-time feel.

P.s. - I think Paris is in the state of Ile-de France

Excellent details and architectural angle for the famous tower. The color is just appropriate...looks like it was photographed when the tower was erected long time ago.
