A picture out of my archives. It was taken the day after a storm that destroyed part of the pier on which day the lighthouse.
The biggest storm for many years.

I deliberately chose not to adjust the image because it was chaos.

this is a magnificent composition!!!The splash of the waves in the foreground,the lighthouse with its red roof contrasting wonderfully with the overcast sky!!!A instant fave!!!

Ce que j'aime beaucoup dans cette image, en plus de ce beau ciel tourment�, c'est l'嶰ume des vagues au premier-plan qui forme comme un rideau.

Excellent rendu de cette athmosph鋨e qui nous rend impuissant face au d嶰ha螽ement de la nature. J'aime la fa蔞n dont tu as captur� le jaillissement des vagues.

Great pov idea, Marie. I like how you kept the lighthouse really low and have the splashing water splashing up in front of it. Great idea & well exectued. Nice work.

hello Marie,

I really like the simplicity of the photo, I find it focuses attention on the fury of the sea. the dark sky hardly looks from Earth, and underneath all that gray expanse and waves in the foreground the lighthouse looks especially tiny. great shot, I like it a lot.
