Photographer's Note
During my stay in Congenies I went for a day trip through the area with my friend Francis. It was a great day out despite the rain and we explored many interesting small villages and of course the famous Pont du Gard.
Here we are in the small village of Collias with less than 1,000 inhabitants. We found this delightful cascade next to the Chemin du Moulin, which flows into the nearby Gardon River.

Hello Chris ,
Despite of the bad weather , this shot is very pleasant . The composition is really well balanced , with three equal parts : the water mill , the fall , the beautiful dark trees . Excellent management of the poor light .
Well done .

A great shot Chris, despite the bad weather - clear and sharp on slow speed (steady hand or tripod?) with good balancing of the water and the mill.
cheers

hello Chris,
TFS. Cordialement.

Hello Chris,
A well composed scene with the little waterfall directing the eyes towards the mill. The exposure is well managed to capture the rushing waters creating a good sense of dynamism. Fine colours and clarity.

Hi Chris, This reminds me of one I took in Italy, an old mill next to running water, these falls are much better. A beautiful image, even the grey sky plays an important part in creating this peaceful atmosphere where time has stood still. Excellent clarity with natural looking colour. Thanks
