Photographer's Note
Where TrekEarthers meet...
Of course in South of France.
...The sun shines most of the time - but not this day..
We just got some clouds, wind, waves and a few drops of rain - what a boring meeting..
Joking.. A top meeting with some Friends from France and of course Cricri of Belgium.. and me then out of the snow from the far north.
And then the light.. (as interpreted in my bad French..)
Ohh.. Looking for the sun?

Hola Jack.
Maybe your meeting was bored but your picture is superb, the impressive stormy clouds with the rough sea produces a magnificent composition. Very well captured with a very good POV. Good frame and sharpness.
Well done. TFS.
Wish you a better weather this week.
Best regards.

Hi JAck.
Again, another lovely nice atmosphere. The "dramatism" in the sky is lovely!

Hello Jack,
Weather of Sunday was that of the day before. For you, it was not an obstacle, you carried out a small masterpiece of seaside. Almost supernatural colors and a foaming sea suggests the approach of the apocalypse. Congratulations also for the portrait of Cricri.
Have a nice day

Hello Jack,

Hi Jack,
Oh wow... looks like it was one of those meetings where the sun decided not to attend! :o(
Well, I'm certain you all had great time anyway and I really regret that I was not able to come and join you. Your photo shows a very dramatitc view of the Mediterranean Sea... must have been rather eerie!
Cheers.

I like this ravaging sea...the gloomy sky
it looks like the end of the world!
may I suggest Verdi's "dies irae" as soundtrack?

Hi Jack, I love the ominous and wild look of this one - it would make a great cover picture for some gloomy classic novel. Restless sea and swirling clouds are very well captured here. Good work!

hej Jack just some of my favorite word according to the rough sea.
The sea, perhaps because of its saltness, roughens the outside but keeps sweet the kernel of its servants’ soul. The old sea; the sea of many years ago, whose servants were devoted slaves and went from youth to age or to a sudden grave without needing to open the book of life, because they could look at eternity reflected on the element that gave the life and dealt the death. Like a beautiful and unscrupulous woman, the sea of the past was glorious in its smiles, irresistible in its anger, capricious, enticing, illogical, irresponsible; a thing to love, a thing to fear. It cast a spell, it gave joy, it lulled gently into boundless faith; then with quick and causeless anger it killed. But its cruelty was redeemed by the charm of its inscrutable mystery, by the immensity of its promise, by the supreme witchery of its possible favour. Strong men with childlike hearts were faithful to it, were content to live by its grace—to die by its will.
