Photographer's Note

This is a picture from Annecy, France, when I was there some months back. I took this picture in afternoon. Also deliberately, used negative Exp Compensation, to give it more late evening-ish look. I wanted to capture the serenity of the place, even though a lot of people were moving around. Have cropped from the top and bottom of the original click.

It is a fine picture, well composed, fine environment. You could include where this is?
It is a nice "daily life" picture, maybe a bit too underexposed at the right side, the overall impression is for me good.

A very pleasing image of a beautiful town. I like the reflections and the softness of the photo. Too often we are striving to make these photos super sharp to attract attention. In this case you would lose the feeling of serenity. Well done.

I like the colors and mood here. The title you have chosen for this photo is perfect. It looks a little tilted and the details on the right are a bit dark. I attempted a workshop for you to bring out the detail but still maintain your coloration.

touristdidi, you would love to be there, but would hate the prices in this town. Living in Annecy is a real challenge trust me!

this is very beautiful.. in fact romantic !
I think it could be sharper though but the composition works so much for me and there are so many interesting features in there - the ripples in the water, the little bridge, the textures etc..
Really an interesting shot.
