Dans le cadre de la biennale des lions 2008, et apr鋊 le lion du palais de justice, voici l'ours qui se trouve devant les colonnes de l'un des embl鋗es architecturaux de la ville de Lyon.

Cette sculpture est l'oeuvre de Tomoriki Takahashi, designer japonais.

During lions 2008 biennal, and after courthouse lion, here is the bear which stands in front of one of the architectural symbols of Lyon city.

This sculpture was made by japanese designer Tomoriki Takahashi.

Hi JB,
It is always interesting to see, how you upload photos at the same time with Xavier. Today it happened again :))
Again you made very nice use of those columns, and this time along with that charming flying (?) bear. The tilt of the columns is a bit distracting, but i am again captured by your goledn tones.

J'ai l'impression que celui-ci est pr皻 � s'envoler !!! L'animal ressort bien sur ces colonnes en arri鋨e plan. Belle gestion des lumi鋨es ambiantes et de la nettet� comme toujours. Bien vu JB

j'aime bien la lumiere sur les colonnes et cette sculpture pos嶪 l� dont la blancheur contraste bien avec le dor� de l'arriere plan.

Not than keen on the composition. However, I love the details you have managed to capture in those gorgeous Corinthian columns. The catch of light and shadows is remarkable.

nice composition with the sculpture of the bear in front of the building of Justice,to be an eye catcher.I like the perspective of the building as the light that floodlight the upper part of it and brings out the details of its facade.Well done.

Et un de plus! (ou de moins...bref c'est l'histoire du verre...). belle lumi鋨e encore une fois et un cadrage qui n'a pas d� 皻re facile vu les 嶰hafaudages juste en bas. Il a l'air un peu perdu c't ours l�, tout seul en bas du cadre...嶰ras� par la justice...

Funny statue, i sometimes don't understand artists in creating things that are new standing in front of an old building. But at least the contrast is there on two complete different subjects, just as your light control and colour management.

Apr鋊 l'ours en mosaiques miroir, voici l'ours blanc. Il semble arnach� d'ailes en m彋al. Sculpture incongrue dans cet environnement. Tu as r徼ssi � rendre ce contraste entre les pierres anciennes du batiment et l'ours r廥olument moderne.

C'est tr鋊 bien vu ce contraste entre les formes arrondies et lisses de cette sculpture et les lignes dures du monument arri鋨e. Excellent cadrage et une haute nettet� qui permettent de d彋ailler les frises. Bon travail.

JB, j'aime le cadrage tr鋊 serr� sur les colonnes du palais de justice. L'ours blanc uni se d彋ache avec force sur les cannelures des colonnes. Belle couleurs et composition tr鋊 dynamique.

une statue qui tranche dans ce d嶰or dor� et cette lumi廨e et qui surtout n'est pas dans le cadre bonjour le gout du d嶰orateur, heureusement qu(il y a un bon photographe pour mettre tout ca en harmonie

It could be a Samurai Polar bear:D He seems to have a sword and a shield on his back. This event in your city has provided lots of new photo opportunities. Very good low POV and excellent light as usual. Well done

Hi Jean Bernard,

I'm wondering about the wings. Well, I guess it are wings on the bear. But what does the artist mean with it? What's the idea behind those wings - if it are wings?
Nice combination of the sleek slim design of the bear. Very shaped, very polished. And then as a contrast the old pillars and roof side of the courthouse. Nice!
