Photographer's Note

Here Tigrou, it is a European cat. The European cat is a cat of average size, short ant tiger fur; he is powerful and very athletic. He would come to us from Egypt or from Syria, comes back with the Roman crusades.
It is a very wide-spread and very ancient kind of cats; we find descriptions of these cats since the end of the XIth century!
The cats are better models that the dogs, indeed the cats remain in place and are not worried you; whereas a dog always is very attracted by your lens.

It is a wonderful close-up. Colors are crisp and contrasting. The tongue outside makes it more than a usual photo.

Magnifique! Les couleurs, la luminosit�, le focus, tout est si parfait! J'aime beaucoup la composition o� le chat occupe tout l'espace la t皻e en premier plan ( avec sa langue rose vif sortie au bon moment) et le corp en second plan on ne peut quitter l'animal des yeux. Cette photo a quelque chose d'hypnotisant! Bravo ;-)

On se demande quand m瘱e qui est le plus fascin�, le chat ou le photographe. C'est un tr鋊 beau portrait d'un superbe animal.

Very good catched. Very sharp photo. There are even a small pink points on the top of the tongue. The eyes are perfect.

At first glance I thought this cat was photoshopped to have "pouting" lips (like angelina jolie) but then I took a second look and it's the cat's tongue... nice capture.
