Photographer's Note
Generally, when the weather is bad, we stay at home. It's a mistake because you can take unusual pictures with stunning lights early in the morning. There is no wind for the moment on the Arcachon bay, no wave at the water surface, but it will change in a few minutes. Thankfully, my car was not parked far away from this spot!

Hi Claude
Very moody image with superb lighting, really captures the sense of an impending storm. The reflections in the water and the boat in the foreground help give a sense of scale.

Hi dear Claude
Sorry for my late reaction as weekday was so busy.
Another impressive and so artstic shot. That inspires me solemn atmosphere very much. Perfect framework and stable composition as usual. Wonderful and tasetful color touch too. Thank you for your sharing and have a good weekend!

Bonjour Clodo,
Toujours très efficace ce genre de photo.
On s'évade tout de suite.
La petite barque renforce la quietude du moment.

Salut Claude
Où étais tu pendant l'orage :)
Bel effet dramatique qui me fait frémir
Avec un éclair ce serait un scoop, mais c'est une question de chance
Bien cordialement

Salut cher Clodo
I do not often see seascapes from you, but from this can say that you are skilled also in this genre of photography. The dark caste to the photo contributes beautifully to the mood. The sun has been managed superbly and those reflections (particularly the pastel ones on the right) make a wonderful contrast to the rest of the dark menacing image. Lovely shot, so peaceful and quiet.
Bonne amitiés et belle journee

Hello Claude,
You're capturing well this seascape by a good composition and excellent tone, so it's interesting and impressive to see calm sea before storm. The thick clouds give a strong impact in this image, and it's effective for the light at ceneter right. Good reflection and light control. And, a blue boat floating on the sea and two cottage draw out good effects. This is a photograph as a painting.
Have a nice day.
Kind regards,
mikio
