Le Theil-de-Bretagne is a French commune, located in the department of Ille-et-Vilaine and the Brittany region.

Le Theil-de-Bretagne comes from the Latin "Tillia (place planted linden). This town lies about 30km south-east of Rennes, it is part of the community of municipalities of La Roche aux Fees.

Castle of Rigaudi鋨e (XVI-XVIII-XIX century). The old mansion had a chapel rebuilt in 1689 and fled. Michel de Parthenay, lord of the Rigaudi鋨e, founded and endowed the chapel, located near his castle in 1489. Louise de Maure, Lady of the Rigaudi鋨e, declared in 1639 that the foundation consisted of three masses per week. Nicolas Ogier, canon of Rennes, who died in 1639 - Jacques Martin - Guy de Lopriac - Bertrand Pele (1684) - Nicolas Gendron (1700) - Francis Nantrieul (1721) - Pierre Lepine -- Julien Mesnard of wasps (in 1771) served the chaplaincy. The old chapel of Rigaudi鋨e, rebuilt and consecrated May 21, 1689, and that was married in 1770 Louis Le Corsin, lord of Chesne-White, no longer exists, but in the same room castle was transformed into a sanctuary in the late nineteenth century (Pouill Rennes). The castle has been looted by the Leaguers in 1589. The wells from 1777. The Rigaudi鋨e was a castellany seniority with a right of high justice.
