62- Spezet costume 1860, a photo from Bretagne, West

Photographer's Note

In one of my earlier postings, I included this photo as a WS. Now, I have decided to do a main posting of it, in order to include it in BRETON TRADITIONAL COSTUMES.
These people were invited to our strawberry festival in Plougastel, and they come from Sp憴et, a village of about 1900 inhabitants, in the centre of Finist鋨e, in " the Black Mountains".
Breton "mountains" are not very high (384m) at the highest point. because they date back to the Tertiary. But the Bretons are proud of them nevertheless.
The highest peak of the "Black Mountains" is "Roc Toulla褰on"(326m), not far from Sp憴et.
The region is renouned for its slate quarries, and the commune itself for its beautiful chapel and calvary " N D du Crann ", and for its "chateau de Tr憝arez" for which I am adding a WS.( This is actually situated in the neighbouring commune: St Goazec )
I am also adding some WS of variations of the costume.

Bonsoir Marie-Louise,

Encore une bien belle petite suite � ce "d嶨il� de mode" Breton. Ils portent fi鋨ement le costume traditionnel comme on peut le voir. Joli ensemble. Merci pour le WS, c'est vrai que ce ch漮eau est magnifique et son parc est pas mal non plus surtout quand il est bien en fleurs.

M瘱e dans les "montagnes", on a mis de la couleur dans les costumes!!
Une belle r嶧lisation pour ces costumes chatoyants!!
Et que dire du WS, Trevarez, c'est certain manquait sur TE!!
Quel chateau et quel parc, j'aime beaucoup l'apercevoir lorsque l'on vient de Chateauneuf du Faou sur sa colline.
Beau travail et plus que quelques jours avant de retrouver ma ch鋨e Bretagne!!

Ya estoy en casa, las vacaciones se terminan.
Tu tema de vestidos tradicionales bretones es muy interesante, y comparte el esp甏itu de TE, al mostrarnos detalles de otras culturas y tradiciones.
La foto est� bien realizada, tiene una buena iluminaci鏮 y los clores son suaves y naturales.

Du pays des "chiffoniers", c'est un costume riche, color�.

Una toma muy atractiva acerca de las costumbres locales con bonitos colores y contrastes. Tambi幯, sus modelos son muy ricos y elegantes. Solamente, golpeaste un poquito los pies de ellos, pero eso no trae gran problema para el resultado final de la captura. Bonito trabajo, un abrazo, Consuelo

j'aime cette photo :)Elle me rappelle les jours de mon enfance quand ma maman fr廦uentais un mus嶪 ethnographique pour dessiner - tirer des copies de divers v皻ements nationaux (ce faisait partie de son travail d'彋udier les v皻ements nationaux); apr鋊, j'ai regard嶪 ces copies.

Je peux dire que j'etait enlev嶪 en regardant des peintures, des sch幦as, des v皻ements nationaux et de divers chefs d'oeuvre:)

J'aime cette photo pour ses couleurs et bonne composition. J'aime ces sourires leur bonne humeur:)

It is a pity you cropped the very bottom of the photo so I can't see the feet..
