Photographer's Note
A panoramic stich of two shots taken from inside les Arenes de Nimes looking up Boulevard des Victor Hugo. In the foreground is the delightful restaurant Hôtel Brasserie des Arènes, from where you can sit and gaze at the 2,000 year old Roman arena while dining on “les spécialités Provençales”.
On the left is the college “le lycée Alphonse Daudet” which was built in the 16th century, originally as an old peoples home. It became a hospital in 18th century, then an arts school in the 19th century. Currently it is used as general-purpose college. The college is named after the famous French 19th century novelist Alphonse Daudet who was born in Nimes.

Chris,
This is a nice panoramic view of this fine architecture. The road leads the eye through the shot. The lighting and colors are great as is the photo's sharpness.

Hello Chris,
A good panoramic view of this lovely architecture. The curving roadway makes a good frame with the added benefit of drawing the viewer into the scene. I like the light and natural colours. Good stitch work. Useful explanatory notes. Pity we can't see a large version of it.

Hello Chris,
Great informative shot. I'll be in Nimes in a couple of weeks and hope to find myself at one of those tables there in the corner of your shot. The school building is terrific.
Good stitch job.
Cheers.

Hello Chris ,
A very fine panoromic shot . The POV is really superb . There are some little distortions , but they are not a problem for me . The only minor default is that the summit of the belfry is to close to the top frame .
Best regards
