Agricultural show, a photo from Bretagne, West

Photographer's Note

Photograph which was taken at the time of an agricultural meeting with Lanmodez (see the localization in map view) small commune of the Coasts of Armor of approximately 420 inhabitants.
An agricultural meeting is a popular holiday where one gives of the prices to the peasants. That makes it possible to say which peasants have the most beautiful cows, bulls, horses in the canton.

Some famous people have also their second home in this commune, in particular the writer and defender of the French language Erik Orsenna, which was besides, this day, among the visitors.

Here a horse and its barouche which throne proudly in the field.

Pas mal de visiteurs lors de ce meeting et m瘱e des gens connus...
La vue dans le fond � l'arri鋨e a donn� de la profondeur dans l'image.

Bonjour Jean Charles, yesterday I wrote on your photo of the grand cannal but then my computor crashed...Today I see a new surprising post of yours. That's quite an impressive horse. Very good looking, with a powerful body. I imagine a never ending strengh in those muscles. First time I think the cart isn't too big for the horse, even if those passengers seem a bit heavy :) Nice warm summer mood in the countryside, good to see a red shirt for color contrast.

This is a nice shot of this horse and old buggy. The angle of the shot works well giving the scene depth and direction. The lighting and colors are great as is the photo's sharpness.

J'appr嶰ie cette image si sympathique et la vision de ce solide cheval qui me rappelle ma jeunesse campagnarde lorsque ses semblables tiraient les charrues. La pr廥ence des personnes donne de la vie � la sc鋝e. La prise de vue envoie mon regard vers la colline � l'arri鋨e-plan ce qui donne de la profondeur � la composition. Elle permet aussi de voir les d彋ails et les couleurs du cheval et de la carriole. La lumi鋨e de la fin de l'apr鋊-midi met en valeur les couleurs de l'image. Bonne journ嶪.

Les Comices Agricoles avaient autrefois une tr鋊 grande importance dans une France � majorit� paysanne. C'est bien de maintenir de telles f皻es pour les rencontres et le partage.
Ta photo me fait penser � ces tableaux Impressionnistes o� le cheval 彋ait souvent repr廥ent�.

SI ce n'etait les barrieres et les gens on croirait voir une scene de la petite maison dans la prairie... bon angle d'approche qui n'a neanmoins pas permis d'eviter les parasites

en voyant ta photo, je cherchais o� j'avais entendu que la f皻e des comices en normandie a lieu le 21/03 et ce sont deux normands qui nous ont expliqu� ce que c'彋ait
c'est dr犨e quelquefois et TE permet d'apprendre beaucoup de choses, c'est fantastique je trouve
et ta photo avec le cheval et la charette , hum c'est beau aussi
