Photographer's Note

Annecy (шeci / шneci in Arpitan language) is a commune in the Haute-Savoie department in the Rh獼e-Alpes region in south-eastern France.
It lies on the northern tip of Lake Annecy (Lac d'Annecy), 35 kilometres south of Geneva.

On the right The Palais de l'Isle, also called the "old prison", which was built from the twelfth century. Taking up most of the island in a canal, it is the symbol of the town and is among the most photographed monuments in all of France.

Ciao Elena,
Great view of the historical Annecy.
The wooden fence and the plants next to it leads us well along the canal with the beautiful houses at one side and the famous palace at the other side of the water.
I like the composition, the sharpness and the wonderful colours.

Bonjour Elena,
Charmante perspective sur ce paisible canal bord� de maisons color嶪s ainsi que sur le palais de l'Isle vu sous un angle inhabituel, mais non moins s嶮uisant. La courbe du canal entra螽e le regard vers le lointain et donne de la profondeur � la composition. La luminosit� extraordinaire fait ressortir la beaut� des couleurs. Une tr鋊 belle photo.

Hi Elena!

I pretty much like the understated of HDR in here as it gives the details a nice glow and emanates vibrance in colors. The sun lit part of the water creates an interesting effect. Great work, well handled image!

Hello,

Nice point of view, usually most of the people are shotting from the bridge in background. I like the composition, using well the curve of the channel to drive the look inside the picture.
